Kids Division
A Community Food Bank of NJ, S.H.O.P.A., and Kids Corporation Collaboration

Kids Division is a 15,000 sq. ft. school supply and children's clothing store operated by the Community Food Bank of NJ, where the teachers and directors of all Kids Corporation schools and Partner Programs are invited to shop for free.  In addition to our 40 sites, Kids Division also serves more than 100 other Essex and Union County schools. 

Too often our children come to school ready and eager to learn, but without a pen, notebook, or folder to call their own. We see children show up for summer school day after day in the same outfit, or arrive at Kids Camp wearing shoes worn clear through the soles. Kids Division aims to alleviate this learning-barrier so that every child comes to school prepared to be educated.

Kids Division is operated by The Community Food Bank, supplied by The School, Home, Office Product Association (SHOPA), and advised by Kids Corporation.  We also assist in evaluating the admitted schools and assessing the accountability of the donations. The program gave away $1,000,000 in donated goods last year, more than $100,000 of which went to Kids Corporation programs.
