Since 1971, we've demonstrated how much we care through programs and services that bolster a child's academic skills, healthy development, and love of learning. Annually, more than 4,500 children benefit from our after-school and summer academic programs, environmental science camp and free health clinic. Simply, it is our mission to improve the lives of Newark Kids.
Kids Farm was developed to promote healthy eating habits in children in Newark and as a year-round teaching tool for Kids Camp. In addition to feeding and educating our students, Kids Farm will grow organic produce for profit sales to NJ restaurants, and sell fresh, affordable vegetables at Newark's hungriest schools.
Kids Corporation is currently featured in an article in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, the non-profit industry's premiere newspaper.

The Kids Summer School program is an academic enrichment program that combines strong academics, cultural activities, homework & tutoring, community service, art, clubs, hot dinner each night and more!
Starts Sept 27, 2010. Mon-Fri, 3-6pm each day that school is in session (except 1/2 days)
Cost: $50 per child per month
Located at NECCS, 14 Crawford Street, Newark.
Open to: all NECCS students
